MWSA's Projects

2010 Completed Projects

Upgrade to the shotgun sports area:

Rebuilding of Trap field #2 including the trap house and new Pat - Trap machine. This machine also has twice the capacity of the old machine.

Improvements to Skeet field #2 include two new Promatic skeet machines...

... as well as a wireless voice release system.

A new storage container & access road for clay pigeon storage has been added.  This allows the delivery truck to back up to the storage container and off load the pallets directly into the container.  This not only saves time and man hours required to unload the delivery truck, it also saves money on the over all price of the clay pigeons.

Fill was hauled in and placed, bringing up the grade for the Skeet fields, including material placed for the rifle & pistol ranges.

All weather benches, gun racks, scoring tables & picnic tables have been added to the shotgun sports area.

The outdoor lighting has also been repaired and adjusted to allow for night time shooting.

Upgrade to the outdoor range:

This project entailed the pouring of a new concrete floor for both sides of the outdoor range and the construction of a new range house.  The new structure on site will have electricity and a small heater suitable to at least take the chill off during the cooler months for special events.

2009 Completed Projects

The entrance to the outdoor range has been moved to the left side of the range adjacent to the shotgun fields and a ramp installed to replace the stairs. A new safety wall has also been installed for shooters' safety.

The old porch on the front of the house has been removed and a ramp installed.
