The NRA Basic firearms courses provide hands-on learning opportunities in the following areas:
NRA Basic Handgun: This course will either run on two consecutive Saturdays or on the Saturday and Sunday of a single weekend. Students are required to be able to attend ALL classes - no exceptions! Cost is $75. Which includes a $25 non refundable deposit, required to register for the class. The remainder of the course fee will be collected prior to the class to facilitate mailing of the training materials. Class size is limited to 20 people and is first come/first served basis.

NRA Basic Handgun for Women:
Basic Rifle: This course teaches new or inexperienced shooters the foundations in safety and use of all types of rifles. Cost is $75 paid in full and in advance to reserve your spot.
Basic Shotgun: This course teaches new or inexperienced shooters the foundations in safety and use of all types of shotguns with an emphasis on the ability to hit moving targets such as skeet, trap and sporting clays.
Scheduled Classes:
Personal Protection in the Home: This course teaches those who are planning to incorporate a firearm into their home protection plan the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for home defense. This course is for experienced shooters. The NRA Basic Pistol or passing a competency test is required for admission. This course runs over two consecutive Saturdays. Students are required to be able to attend ALL classes - no exceptions! If you sign up for a class and cannot make it your deposit is held for attendance in a future class. Cost is $75 paid in full and in advance to reserve your spot.
